New Student Orientation is a full day to explore your new èßäÊÓƵ home. Review the schedule to see what to expect.
Free parking for NSO is available at the èßäÊÓƵ Coliseum on the Evansdale area of campus.
From there, you will travel downtown by bus to the Mountainlair Student Union for NSO check-in. You should arrive at the èßäÊÓƵ Coliseum between 7:15 and 8 a.m. in order to get to the Mountainlair in time for the Welcome session.
The last bus will leave the èßäÊÓƵ Coliseum at 8 a.m. Families arriving after the last bus will need to drive to the and pay to park.

Park in the èßäÊÓƵ Coliseum parking lots and board the bus to travel downtown for NSO.
7:15 a.m. - 8:25 a.m.
You'll be dropped off in front of the Mountainlair Student Union, where you'll check in for NSO and enjoy a quick complimentary breakfast. The èßäÊÓƵ Bookstore will be open if you'd like to do some shopping before the program starts.
8:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.

A special guest will welcome you to campus and our NSO staff will help you understand the schedule of the day.
9:00 a.m. - 10:10 a.m.
Mountainlair
Students, you will have the opportunity to meet with other incoming students and ask questions of our current students.

Parents and guests, this session is for you! Lisa Hanselman, director of the Mountaineer Parents Club, will share info you need to know as a parent or family member of a èßäÊÓƵ student!

Discover exactly what to expect with Life as a Mountaineer! We'll cover residence hall move-in and Welcome Week, plus how to get involved (and stay involved), some traditions we love, and more ways you will be supported.

Lunch is on us! You can eat at Hatfields, our dining hall in the Mountainlair, or choose from the Mountainlair's other eateries.

You can move into your assigned residence hall anytime between 1:30-3:30 p.m.
